A summary of our beliefs regarding what the Bible teaches, and the OPC's statement of faith, is found in the Westminster Standards, which include the Confession of Faith and the Larger and Shorter Catechisms. These documents have been sincerely adopted by Bible-believing Presbyterian churches for 350 years.

Covenant Orthodox Presbyterian Church and the Orthodox Presbyterian Denomination are founded on the Biblical principles in both the Old and New Testament.

Covenant - attests that our foundation is based on the promises of God found in His Word. We recognize that God has chosen His people to be in a unique relationship with His son, Jesus Christ.

Orthodox - attests that the church teaches only what the Bible teaches. The Doctrine of Grace, found in Jesus Christ is set against what the world finds acceptable.

Presbyterian - attests that the church is organized using the teaching of the Apostles. Presbyterianism started in the days of the Apostles. The word Presbyterian simply means "rule by elders."

Church - attests that we are made up of people renewed by God's Holy Spirit, united to glorify God and serve Him by honoring His word. We recognize the church is composed of sinners who have been made righteous solely by the word of Jesus Christ.

What is man's chief end?

Man's chief end is to glorify God and to enjoy him forever.
